13: John Carroll

John Carroll serves with Dallas Willard Ministries as the Director of their School of Kingdom Living, an 18-month journey of learning and training in community intended for anyone who wants to put on the character of Christ through a practical, effective approach to biblical discipleship.

With a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, John brings a unique blend of experience (11 years in business, 9 years in the local church) to DWM.

John has a shepherd’s heart and is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church. His great passion is for the two “ships” in life: DiscipleSHIP and RelationSHIP, which underscores the importance and purpose of the School of Kingdom Living.

John has been married to his wife, Amber, for 21 years. Together, they have two teenage children and two shih tzu’s. They reside in Melbourne, Florida. For fun, John likes to surf, read and watch football (not at the same time).
